28 years on from my first property rental, I still approach every individual rental and tourist season as an opportunity to listen, learn and then build and further develop our business to meet our client’s needs.
My vision right from the start was to offer a ‘One Stop Shop’ holiday home agency for both the visitor and the owner and that remains our main focus at Connemara Holiday Lettings to this day.
My team and I wish to make your holiday cottage rental experience seamless and as easy as possible, from enquiries and bookings, to payment and providing advice on attractions and recommendations.
Our company is 100% Connemara owned and we only employ staff with authentic and invaluable local knowledge and insight. We believe this gives us an edge when it comes to providing the personal touch and attention to detail that makes a holiday experience truly memorable.

Yvonne Flaherty
Owner and Manager
Yvonne has a strong background in this business, with over 28 years experience in renting properties both in London and Connemara. Coupled with her personal passion for travel, this has given her a great deal of experience in knowing what guests want and have come to expect. As a result, she works hard to create wonderful memories, unforgettable experiences and lifetime dreams for all of her guests. She continuously strives to learn more and offer better services and amenities by listening to what guests have to say.
Yvonne has an adventurous spirit and is very keen on outdoor sports such as walking, running and cycling and especially likes spending time with her two fun-loving daughters, her husband Robbie and her dog Trixie.
Samantha Griffiths
Office Manager
Samantha has been a member of the Connemara Holiday Lettings Team for nearly nine years, starting with the company back in October 2015 as our Reservations Manager. Samantha hails from Goulane just outside of Clifden town. Samantha is a proud Connemara native and enjoys finding new walks around Connemara with her family in her free time and she loves to bake.

After several years of working in retail, I recently joined Connemara Holiday Lettings, where I bring my love for Connemara to others. In my free time, I enjoy exploring nature, and spending quality time with friends and family.

In 2022, I graduated from ATU Galway, a milestone made even more special with my daughter by my side. I am proud to call Connemara my home. I cherish spending time with my family, enjoying scenic drives, and savouring good food

We had a great stay at Sycamore Cottage. We had stayed in different places on three previous trips but this was the best. There was just the two of us and Bruce the dog. The cottage looked great on the website and we were not disappointed. The cottage was spotless and had everything you might need. The bed was comfy and the heat from the Staney stove in the kitchen was incredible and warmed the whole place. The location was perfect just five mins drive to Clifden and two mins of this is down a small laneway. The dog loved meeting the donkeys and horses further down the lane. We got the Netflix going and the wifi was good. We would certainly recommend Sycamore Cottage and would definitely stay there again next time we visit Clifden.
